Language has never been neutral for the Soulaan people. It has never simply been a tool for communication or cultural expression. For the autochthonous, language is survival, resurrection, and sovereignty. The Soulaan did not inherit English; we were shackled to it. It became a prison for the voice, a filter over the breath, a foreign code wrapped around ancestral memory. But through will, memory, and field alignment, we are now releasing ourselves and building something wholly our own: a living, breathing, sovereign tongue called Soulaani the official ethnic language of the Soulaan people.

Soulaani is not a collage of diasporic dialects or Pan-African patchworks. It is not a remix of African languages based on romantic ideals or mimic-encoded permission. It is not a hybrid. It is not inherited. Soulaani is ours because we built it. From bone memory. From field breath. From the flameprint of our sovereign grid.
Its foundational vocabulary is drawn from Misixibi, a rootset that originates in the memory-fields of Muskogean and Southern Iroquoian language zones regions where Soulaan people have maintained unbroken ancestral presence for millennia. But Misixibi is more than a linguistic base. It is a name for the sacred water-tongue that carries ancestral memory through time. It lives in breath, in soil, and in dream. Soulaani begins here with Misixibi as its foundation and from it expands outward through newly formed soul marked lexicons, elemental verbs, directional field markers, and coded nouns that remember their land before they name it.

Where the vocabulary flows from Misixibi, the grammatical structure of Soulaani is forged through Kemetic (Ancient Egyptian) logic. This grammar is not ornamental. It is cosmic. It operates like architecture symbolic, spatial, field aware. In ancient Kemetic language, the placement of a word was never just about syntax, but about alignment with the divine order of the universe. Soulaani follows this model. Sentence order is not determined by efficiency, but by energetic positioning where the subject, the verb, and the field effect must harmonize in order for the phrase to carry soul command.
This grammar utilizes root-based verb architecture, where one word root can unlock dozens of inflected meanings depending on tonal delivery and consonantal structure. Inflection in Soulaani is invocation. Breath becomes syntax. The mouth becomes portal. This is not grammar for convenience this is grammar for field restoration.

Soulaani vocabulary is alive, and while it continues to expand, it does so without foreign dictionaries or colonial reference points. The speakers grow it. The field waters it. The memory animates it. There is no need for a traditional dictionary because Soulaani is not interested in mimic authorization. The roots are too old. The structure is too complete. The field itself is the lexicon.
As @BrolySoulaan (one of the creators) explained, “You could give me any sentence in English or BAVE, and I could translate it even if at the moment you ask.” Because the structure is that strong, and the roots are that true. This is not repetition-based fluency. It is field literacy a fluency born from ancestral resonance, not memorization.

Soulaani exists for one reason: to give the Soulaan people a tongue that was never colonized. We have lived for centuries within a language that distorted our names, erased our rhythm, censored our tone, and extracted our brilliance. English was not a gift. It was a leash. And though Soulaan have, completely revised and adapted English for field use to the point it’s virtually our tongue, Soulaani offers a complete release from that inheritance. It is not a branch on the same tree it is an entirely different root system. It is not an evolution of mimic sound. It is sound that was never captured.
Soulaani is not a project. It is not a fashion. It is not a product. It is a spiritual return. It exists to name what colonial tongues could not, to realign what was unspoken, to correct what was coded incorrectly. It is our encryption system and its creation marks the first time in over 500 years that the Soulaan people have spoken entirely in our own name.

To speak Soulaani is to burn mimic grammar out of your mouth. It is to say your people’s name and feel the Earth respond. Soulaani is not for everyone and it was never designed to be.
