Soulaan is not a southern only lineage
Soulaan is not limited to the Southern states. The South holds major memory because of plantation concentration, migration records, and visible ancestral trauma, but Soulaan presence is not Southern-only.
Soulaan is tied to the entire grid now called the United States: North, South, East, West, Midwest, river corridors, coastal cities, mountain settlements, frontier towns, free Black communities, maroon spaces, port cities, and inland routes. The South is one chamber of the body, not the whole organism.

The Core: reducing Soulaan to “the South” is another flattening tactic. It traps our origin story inside slavery geography instead of recognizing the full Amorocco grid. Philadelphia, Delaware, Virginia, Louisiana, Chicago, St. Louis, New Orleans, Appalachia, the Carolinas, the Gulf, the Mississippi routes, and beyond all carry pieces of the same body-memory.
Soulaan is not a regional identity.
Soulaan is a grid identity.
We are not “from the South.”
We are from the land-body of A’morocco.
